Come visit us in the beautiful central Upper Peninsula of Michigan surrounded by the Gwinn State Forest Area and the Crystal Falls State Forest Area. David VanElsacker, your guide and host, grew up in this wild wooded enviornment. All meals are home cooked!

  

David's varied interests and hobbies include raising exotic birds, developing bear hounds, firearms collecting and the construction and remodeling of log cabins. In 2000 David formually started his guided wildgame hunting business which is currently referred to as "Davids-Hog Wild". Hog Wild has attracted successful hunters from both the United States and Canada.

David is an active supporting member of the region Safari Club International (SCI) Northwoods chapter.

We are located in the city of Northland, in the Township of Wells, Marquette County, Upper Michigan. Follow our signs as you travel on Highway 426 and then County Road "So". We are located 36 miles NW of Escanabe, 55 miles NE of Iron Mountain and 60 miles S of Marquette.
